RC Circuit

A resistor-capacitor circuit (RC circuit) is an electric circuit composed of resistors and capacitors. In particular it can be composed of one resistor and one capacitor and may be driven by a constant voltage. This simulation allows you to study a RC series circuit.

Below you have a circuit with a switch that allows the capacitor C to be charged using the electromotive force E giving a constant voltage of 10V. The capacitor is charged through the resistance R and discharged through the resistance r or through a short circuit. The maximum duration of a single measurement session (charging or discharging) is 300 sec.
